ANTIFOAMS
Antifoams are surfactants that act through intermediate surface tensions to destabilize the foam and release the air trapped in the emulsion.
There are antifoams with different chemical compositions that allow adaptation to the diversity of systems available in the industry and to attack the types of foam that may be generated.
Within these types of antifoams we find the following:
-
Water based
-
Oil base
-
Silicone base
-
Fatty acid base
-
Alcohol base
AREFOAM
Line of cutting-edge antifoams, used to prevent and remove foam and intrinsic air, avoiding problems in paper quality such as:
-
Poor formation of the paper sheet.
-
Increase in Porosity.
-
Loss of paper fibers.
-
Increased energy consumption for the drying process, etc.
